The Ultimate Mystery is God in His Trinity.
WE ALL LONG FOR GOD IN HIS TRINITY.
“Our hearts are restless until they rest in Thee.” – St Augustine
The Holy Spirit in Holy Trinity Parish Embleton.
All the life within the parish of Holy Trinity in the people and the renewed church and grounds of Holy Trinity Parish has been achieved through and in and by the life and grace of the Holy Spirit flowing through the goodness of many people.
The Holy Spirit has been given to all of us in our Baptism and reaffirmed in our Confirmation Sacrament. The Holy Spirit is the divine energy of love between God the Father and Jesus his Son that was released here in Holy Trinity Parish Embleton.
The Holy Spirit needs must continue to flow within the parish to being a vibrant and vital parish where we serve the needs of each other and our networks and those beyond the parish to become the place where God in his Trinity can be found.
As Pope Francis said:
“The word, “Christian” means we are consecrated like Jesus in the same Spirit in which Jesu was immersed throughout his earthly existence. He is the “Christ,” the Anointed One, the Consecrated One; we, the “baptised” are “Christian,” meaning consecrated, anointed. If you want [you and] yourself [and your] children to become true Christians [we must] become “immersed’ in the Holy Spirit, that is the warmth of the love of God [the Father], in the light of his Word [Jesus.] Do not forget to forget to invoke the Holy Spirit often, every day.
We usually pray to Jesus. When we pray the “Our Father,” we pray to the Father. But we do not often pray to the Holy Spirit who teaches us how to raise the family, so that our children may grow in the presence of the Holy Trinity,
It is precisely the Holy Spirit that leads [us and] them forward. For this reason, do not forget to invoke the Holy Spirit every day. You can do so, for example, with this simple prayer, “Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love” You can say this prayer for your children and, or course, also for yourselves.
When you recite this prayer, feel the maternal presence of the Virgin Mary. She teaches us to pray to the Holy Spirit, and to live in accordance with the Spirit, like Jesus.”
