The Four Communities
of Holy Trinity Parish Embleton
One Intercultural Community

Our shared VISION:
Everyone Together!

Introduction

Embleton Parish seeks to be an intercultural community of harmony, peace, and goodwill.

Despite having diverse cultures, Embleton Parish becomes a unique parish, a special parish, an example parish of respect and courtesy, of oneness and difference, of joy and blessing in our shared love of the Lord in his Trinity.

This truth is true for all of us here at Embleton Parish: We worship God through our culture.

The Embleton Community.

This is made up of people who live in Embleton and surrounding suburbs. Many families have lived in the area a long time. Many families originally came when Embleton was an area where State Housing accommodation was available. Embleton is currently in transforming itself into a new suburb with the old houses being demolished and new modern houses replacing them.

The Aboriginal Catholic Community.

Having been in the parish for fifty years in 2024, the parish is enriched and honoured by their presence amongst us.

May the bond between the two communities grown firm and ever stronger.

The Syro-Malabar Community.

Embleton Church is where the Syro-Malabar community celebrate their own cultural Mass as well provide collective Catechism to all the children of the community.

It is quite a large community.

They come to the parish Sunday afternoons from 2.30pm onwards on their chosen Sundays, usually twice a month.

The Ukrainian Catholic Dancing Community.

In union with the Maylands Ukrainian Church and community, members of their congregation who are preserving Ukrainian culture in dance use the hall and grounds to preserve and teach Ukrainian culture.

This is important given the fact currently that Ukraine, their country, is seeking to survive in an unasked-for war.

Embleton Parish is pleased to be part of the struggle experienced by all the victims of this war.
