The parish priest of Embleton is Fr. Patrick Toohey. He began to serve the parish of Embleton on 1st September 2021, the first day of Spring.
His prior parishes were Our Lady of Grace, North Beach, Sacred Heart Goomalling, and Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Scarborough.
He was ordained in 2015, as a late vocation priest. He has been a public servant in different departments and a primary State school teacher in country and city schools.
He was born in Sydney and has lived in three other capital cities Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth.
At various times in his life, in country towns as well. He has lived in Bowral, and Douglas Park NSW, as well as Kulin, Williams, and Merredin in WA.
He was formerly married. He has adult children and grandchildren.
